Finn Goldbolt

Finn Godbolt is a textile designer working with industrial knitting technologies to expand the expressive possibilities of knitted textiles. His practice combines digital processes, graphic patterning, and the pixel-based language of machine knitting to create contemporary pieces for everyday spaces.

Through pattern, colour, and structure, Finn develops textile designs that investigate optical effects, geometric compositions, and unexpected visual interactions within digitally programmed knitted surfaces.

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Finn is involved in every stage of production, from design and digital knit programming through to machine operation and hand finishing.
