Finnzarby Richwood

Finnzarby Richwood is a trained furniture maker running a one-man design + make furniture studio in Henderson. The studio - Zarby Designs - is both commission-based, taking on design and manufacture work, as well as an outlet for Finn’s prospective pieces and products.

Finnzarby trained under Rowan Dicks and has since broadened his work and experience into a number of mediums and styles, though his heart is taken by timber. Conceptually driven, his furniture pieces are explorative in form, and try to play on the line between practical craft and art.

“My goal is to create much more than just functional furniture items, but pieces that influence the feeling of the space they’re in. I would love a world where people are more willing to push the boundary on the stylistic choices they consider for their spaces.
