Fiona Mackay is ceramicist, who originally studied and worked as a furniture designer. She uses her design background and aesthetic to explore a broad range of ceramics, from functional stoneware to larger more sculptural and conceptual works. Her work is very process driven, with a focus on exploring texture, mark making and various hand building techniques. She has recently had a show at Public Record – a collaboration with Jeweller / Artist Lucinda Barrett
