Rosie Carson

Rosie Carson is a contemporary jeweller based in Waitakere, Tāmaki Makaurau. A background in architectural interiors has informed the aesthetic of her jewellery;  sculptural, modernist forms are featured, using semi precious gemstones and both precious and alloyed metals.

This year she has begun working with cast metals and has incorporated traces of sand from special beaches into a new range of work. Rosie’s aim is to create pieces that have a unique simplicity, as well as having a strong connection to place and memory.
