Soo Jeong Lee is a Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland-based jeweller who holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts Therapy. Her practice explores personal experiences and the recording of everyday moments through writing, drawing, and jewellery. Working primarily through the lost wax casting method, Soo Jeong translates thoughts, emotions, and memories into tactile forms, using jewellery as a way to communicate and connect.
Alongside her studio practice, Soo Jeong has facilitated jewellery workshops that encourage creativity and connection. She continues to explore the relationship between making, memory, and human connection, documenting meaningful moments through jewellery and creating bespoke pieces that hold personal stories.
